Surrey Total Lawn Care terms and conditions.
Domestic and Commercial customers;
Payment terms are on presentation of invoice.
No retail customer may exceed £500 job value with out making stage payments.
All complaints and disputes must be raised in writing and telephone within two working days of Total Lawn Care leaving site.
Any chemical that is to be sprayed will only be so if the conditions allow and is safe to do so for the operative, the environment and the general public.
After turf laying.
We would suggest that the new turf is thoroughly watered as soon as the turf is laid, and watering should continue every day until the turf has rooted. At this stage, the frequency of watering can be reduced, unless hot weather is present. In this case, make sure the turf is watered so that it doesn’t shrink and curl at the edges. (Please note, After Surrey total lawn care ltd has left site, it is the customers responsibility to make sure the areas turfed are watered. Any damage caused by lack of care and repaired by us, may incur a charge.) Warning, do not over water newly rotovated or landscaped areas, as subsidence may occur. Little and often is safe advice in these circumstances.
Lawns will be cut no lower than TLC recommends.
Note that a charge may be added to lawn cutting if pet feces are left on the lawn when the customer has prior knowledge of our visit. Any quote given whilst the lawn is clear from obstacles may be affected if children’s toys, tables and chairs, or any other objects eg trampolines are added onto the lawn during the contract. For health and safety reasons TLC operatives will not be able to lift or move large items off the lawn eg, trampolines, tables, swings.
Payment of invoice required within 7 days of receiving invoice, unless other wise stated or discussed.
(Late payment may result in future works needing payment in advance)
Please note; We are a small business and depend on cash flow. As this is our lively hood, we please ask that all customers pay as soon as possible. Please remember that we are an independent company and we have rent and bills to pay too. Failure to pay your invoice may mean we can not pay our rent.
Once the customer has accepted our quote TLC takes no responsibility for any mortar or pointing damage to any surface that we clean. Customers will be advised before any work is carried out to any surface.
