Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions.
We often get asked these questions, but if you need to ask us any thing else, please contact one of our lawn care technicians.
Q. When will our lawn care start, and when are the 5 steps carried out?
A. Typically the lawn care calendar starts at the end of January (to mid to late February), with step 1. The moss treatment is left for a period of around 3 to 4 weeks, then step 2. From step 2 there is roughly 8 weeks between visits 2, 3, 4 and 5. (Depending on the weather). Before each visit we aim to contact you via email roughly a week in advance, to let you know we are aiming to visit and to let you know of any requirements we may have before each treatment.
Q. How and when do we pay?
A. After each visit we will send you an email invoice through our Xero system, that will let you know what we did and when we did it. The invoice has our bank details so that you can pay through online banking.
Q. When can we start our lawn care if we are half way through the year?
A. The lawn care process will take a while before you will see really good results. Typically 18 months (for very neglected lawns) but much sooner for lawns that are in a fare condition. So this means that lawn care can start any time of the year. We will simply slot you into the nearest step of the plan.
Q. What if i do not think lawn care is for me after 6 weeks?
A. We occasionally come across a customer who decides nothing is happening after a short period of time and they decide to stop the lawn care. Remember that the lawn is a living thing, and because of this, fixing things can take time. It may be that your lawn was laid 20 years ago, its is unlikely to assume that we can fix 20 years of cutting too short and lack of nutrients in just 6 weeks. These things take time, so please be patient. For more advice on your lawn, just ask.
